March, 2024
Dear Friends,
It's a long Lenten march to Easter this year ... make that a long Lenten March to Easter this year, beacause Easter Sunday falls on March 31.
Between now and then, with a lack of chocolate preying on your mind, consider praying:
The Stations of the Cross for Caregivers
Here's the 12th:
Jesus dies on the cross
Dear Jesus, one of the last things you did before you died on the cross
was ask St. John to take care of your Blessed Mother and for her to
accept that care. You ask the same of me and my loved one. Help us
accept, and be faithful in, our vocations of caregiver and
carereceiver. Amen.
The Scriptural reference is John 19:26-27

Again this month we cordially invite you to join the Friends of St. John the Caregiver! (FSJC's programs include YourAgingParent.com and CatholicCaregivers.com.) You can find out more about becoming a member here.
No meetings, no dues. All we ask is that you pray for caregivers and those receiving care. Our members include caregivers, care-receivers, and those who support both (including quite a few former caregivers).
